Phillips had certainly looked the part. He was linebacker big, with a granite jaw and iron fists. He wasn't too bright either, which O'Malley had always found a useful trait in his bouncers. Punch first and ask questions later.

You'd have thought that would-be troublemakers would take one look and choose to take their riotousness to the next establishment. Instead Phillips had the temperament of a bunny rabbit.

When O'Malley fired him for failing to deter rowdy behavior. he asked Phillips to explain himself.

"What's the point of having a bouncer if you're not willing to knock some heads together?"

Trait

This is a strange scenario where she turned around to see if the guy that she dated was still around or not. He was there, but she lost interest. Not fully, but with the arrival of a past partner things changed. She was into him but yeah now someone else was there to share the attention too. She was not sure if she should move forward with the one she dated. A date with the same mate? Is too fate? Or, too late? Next, is a date with either of the soulmate? Or, let fate be the cupid's old trait.

The Miqui Smart Home Device

When Blake brought Miqui home that first evening, he spent hours translating the instructions into a form of English he could understand. Miqui had evolved a language much more sophisticated than his own outdated vernacular.

By the next Tuesday, Miqui was finally in working order. It immediately diagnosed him with cancer. His was a milder variety. Six months to live.

Miqui is Blake's only company these days, other than the nurses. He remembers when fish still weren't able to talk. The fish said it was worthwhile he could still recall the good old days. Nostalgia is a uniquely human trait.

Clever

Sydney prides herself on her cleverness. Her teachers and prospective lovers (usually different) always commented it was her most identifiable trait.

So it's frustrating when this critical character component fails to impress. Like when she explains to the traffic cop that coming to a complete stop was both unnecessary and a waste of fuel, and she's doing everyone a service.

Or when she told Ian that kissing her boss simply made her appreciate Ian more as a boyfriend.

Neither did he laugh at her joke about the dog dropping his bouquet of white flowers to bark at its own reflection.
