The Origin Of Myth
As far back as anyone can remember, Lulumak stole. When he was young, the elders told Lulumak’s parents that this was a sign of intelligence but once he matured into warriorhood, the elders warned Lulumak that he would be punished if he stole again. A day after Lulumak was warned, Chinoon caught him stealing fish from Yellow Hair’s net. The next day a few elders told Lulumak they discovered a rich fishing area and invited him to fish with them. When the elders returned without Lulumak, they told the tribe that Nanal, the monster, had eaten Lulumak for his sin.

Holy War
I absolutely hate the Church. They're all up in my kitchen, telling me what to do, what I can't do, what I'm allowed to think. They've hung a heavy dose of guilt around my neck and it gets so heavy sometimes I can barely move.
I think about waging war, taking on the Church and all the elders and giving them a taste of fear like they deserve. But it's just a dream. With the shame sheets they've tied around us, every sin shows up red, and they know who needs punishing. It's best to stay as pure as possible.
The Black Dots, Part Two
The pharmaceuticals factory was something of a dinosaur, antiquated and larger-than-life at the same time. It loomed so ominously over the lake district that only the most desperate dared to visit. If there was a serial killer operating in its shadow, some of the more authoritarian city elders might have deemed it good for social welfare.
My sinking ship of a career cried out for me to catch the black dot killer, so I conducted the investigation alone.
Turns out I was right about the pharmaceuticals factory but wrong about the killer. The reality was even worse than I'd imagined.
